SDK Manager freezes for almost *30 seconds* while "Fetching SDKs"

"Fetching SDKs" presumably refers to fetching the list of available SDKs from the internet.

This is pretty annoying because sometimes I open the SDK manager simply because I want to quickly switch to another SDK, maybe because I'm switching back and forth between a beta and production SDK, maybe because something is wrong with the latest SDK and I want to test an older SDK.

It would be nice if "fetching SDKs" could occur in the background, and while this is happening, if it would be possible to still switch to another SDK as per usual. Even if there are 1 or more new SDKs available, I still happen to have many more than that installed on my computer.

I timed it: it takes 27 seconds from opening the SDK manager to displaying the list of SDKs.

This is unreasonably long. Studies show that most people will close a web page if it doesn't load within a few hundred *milliseconds*.
