SDK 4.1.1 - ERA Viewer app list stays empty after second startup

The ERA viewer app list is empty when I start the app the second time. With the first initial setup the app list is filled up correctly and list my apps in the correct way. Also the errors are listed.

Closing and reopening the ERA viewer do not load the the app list correctly. The developer entry is setup correctly and still exists in the settings.

At the moment a reset of the settings and adding my developer entry is needed to get the app list working.

...very annoying. ;-)

OS: Windows 11 / Mac OS Monterey

Thanks for your support,

  • Yes everything is up to date, VSCode, the extension, the SDK...

The ERA tool starts up and displays ... Fetching ... Developer, Apps, ...

Then the App list is empty.

When I check the settings... my apps are listed in RED color in the app list.

Only a reset of the settings will fill up the app list again.

    Thanks for your help.

  • I'm not able to reproduce this -- are you using the latest 1.0.2 release of the VS Code extension? And does this occur with previous SDK releases? I assume no, but I want to be sure. Slight smile

  • What happens if you launch the ERA viewer directly from the SDK/bin folder.  I just create a shortcut to my desktop directly to the era.jar file.  I have been able to open the new version multiple times after the update with no issues.  It kept the previous settings for the ERA viewer.  I started doing this because I was finding that launching it from VS code was wiping out my settings despite configuring the Developer ID in the Monkey C settings for my workspace.

It may be something with how VS code is passing info from the Monkey C settings to ERA and not with ERA app itself.
