Profiler not working: unable to load debug.xml

Tried the use the Profiler with both Visual Code and with Eclipse for my watch face but every time I get the error message: unable to load debug.xml.

After starting the simulator I choose View Profiler, what do I need to do to get this working?

Currently on SDK 4.1.1

    The profiler expects the <app>.debug.xml file to be copied to the debug folder for the simulated device (%TEMP%\GARMIN\Debug) when the <app>.prg is pushed. It sounds like maybe you are using an old version of the vscode extension or the eclipse plugin.
