Please allow nativeNum FIT fields to override native fields in Garmin Connect

Currently, nativeNum fields do not override native fields in Garmin Connect, which seems to defeat the purpose. This prevents apps from overriding distance, speed or power, for example.

This feature has been requested for several years:

  • They just want our money and don't seem to care about the 3rd party develops who REALLY make much better apps than their canned stuff....... The SwimSports+ app is monstrously superior to eh Garmin Swim app, but because Garmin favors and allows only THEIR app native fields it does not allow SwimSports to be published across to Strava or other Garmin Native statistics and fields.

    Its bullcrap.  The silence here for YEARS is disappointing.
