Paid watch faces missing from Connect IQ Store search and category sections, especially on Fenix 9

Hello Garmin Connect IQ Team,

since approximately the last week of September 2026, I have noticed a significant visibility problem affecting multiple watch faces published under my developer account Bortech.

Several of my published watch faces have disappeared from the normal Connect IQ Store category sections. Previously, multiple watch faces were visible in these sections, but currently only one may appear.

I have also received reports from customers that compatible watch faces cannot be found through the normal Connect IQ search when a Fenix 9 device is selected.

For example, one customer reported:

“For your info, when searching ConnectIQ for faces that work on the Fenix 9, Moonglow wasn't showing. I had to search via developers to find it.”

The important point is that the watch face is still published and compatible with the device. It can be accessed through the developer page/direct listing, but it does not appear through normal Store search.

I am seeing similar visibility problems across multiple watch faces published under Bortech.

Examples of my published watch faces include:

  • Dark Elegance

  • Glance Elegance

  • Metric Flow

  • Solvex Prime

  • Eclipse

  • Midnight Glow

  • and other Bortech watch faces

The listings themselves have not been removed from the Store and remain accessible directly.

Expected behavior

A published watch face that lists a device as compatible should:

  1. appear when searching for its exact name with that compatible device selected;

  2. appear normally in the appropriate Watch Face Store categories according to the Store ranking/indexing system;

  3. have the same search eligibility across compatible devices unless there is a documented restriction.

Actual behavior

  • Compatible paid watch faces do not appear in Store search on some devices, particularly Fenix 9 models.

  • The same watch faces can still be accessed through the developer page or direct Store link.

  • Several of my watch faces have also disappeared from Store category sections at approximately the same time.

  • Only a small subset of my published watch faces is currently visible in sections where multiple Bortech watch faces previously appeared.

This appears consistent with the already reported Connect IQ issue where paid apps are not searchable on Fenix 9 devices, even though they are compatible and accessible through the developer page.

There also appears to be a concurrent issue with Store category indexing/rankings not being updated correctly.

Could you please check whether there is currently a problem with:

  • Store search indexing,

  • paid-app device filtering,

  • Fenix 9 monetization/search eligibility,

  • Watch Face category indexing,

  • or the Store ranking/indexing service?

Please also confirm whether developers need to take any action, such as re-uploading applications, or whether this is entirely a Store-side issue.

I do not want to re-upload or modify otherwise working applications if the problem is caused by Connect IQ Store indexing.

Thank you.
