Cannot Reproduce.

Uninstalling the Preview SDKs in the SDK Manager didn't prompt pop-up that they were available.

Also, reinstalling the SDK Manager removed the Preview SDKs from showing up as available SDKs to download.

Now that CIQ4 is live... can we _PLEASE_ lose the notice that Preview version is available for download?

As per title.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download latest CIQ SDK.

2. Uninstall the old SDKs you are not using (including the preview that you previously downloaded, back when it was relevant and then again to make the irritating popup disappear)

3. Restart the SDK manager

Expected results:

The SDK manager should start normally and do its thing.

Actual results:

The SDK manager shows an irritating popup telling me that the "CIQ Preview 3.0" SDK is available for download.

Brad.ConnectIQ you will be able to reproduce it as soon as you use a VPN to connect to a server in Ireland. I've been having the same issue for a while (I'm also in Ireland) and there is a ticket opened for that issue already: WERETECH-11158

That went REALLY badly.

And, no, it did not even pretend to fix the issue!

Here's the process I used and the result:

1. I renamed the folder

2. I went into VSCode, start SDK manager

3. VSCode says no SDK manager, please download

4. Download, move to correct location, start, login etc...

5. Download begins...

6. NASTY error shows in OS dialog prompt something about "..\..\srcmsw\dir.cpp[412]: assert ""IsOpened()"" failed in wxDir::GetFirst(): ,ust wxDir::Open() first in thread 256c]" and "Do you want to stop the program?"

7. If I stop the program, it stops... obviously. If I don't stop the program, it gives me a Garmin error dialog "Unable to download the Connect IQ 4.0.1 SDK. Error code: 50332052".

8.AND DESPITE ALL THAT: It is also showing the preview SDKs in the list.

I'm going to create another bug report about the installation woes as I try to figure out how to get to a clean install that works.

You can try going into your AppData folder and renaming your ConnectIQ folder something else (while you don't have the SDK Manager open). Then open the SDK Manager and let it redownload/setup the SDK Manager to see if the problem still persists.

That's weird.

But I cannot start the SDK at all without seeing it.

I'm on SDK manager v1.0.2 and Windows with VSCode (though the VSCode shouldn't matter, I imagine).
