Working as intended. Pending/Beta applications that are not officially on the store cannot be referenced or found by GCM. Therefore, changing out the settings would not be available.

No settings for Pending application in Connect Mobile app

Hi,

I built and released an App on ConnectIQ. After downloading  from the App store and installing it on my watch, I observed the following:

1. App settings were visible and fully functioning in Garmin Express (Windows) and Garmin ConnectIQ app (iOS)

2. App settings were utterly inaccessible in Garmin Connect app (iOS)

This is INCORRECT as the settings should have been fully visible and accessible and functioning in all three as the App was uploaded for public release.

    Hmm. 

    Well, ok but... then is it a bug that I can use settings for both Beta and Pending for DataField?

    And how is one supposed to verify settings in the wild if download from Beta store is non-functional?

  • I've just tested against another new app - this time in Beta - it is definitely a Connect Mobile issue and not an app specific issue as the issue recurs there, too. Also, after app release, the settings button appeared in Connect Mobile for the App that triggered this ticket.

    To summarise;

    1. Connect Mobile app will not show settings button for an App that is uploaded but not release (eg: pending or beta)

    2. Everything else will and should.
