New Crash on Vivoactive HR

This looks like the same problem that I reported in a bug report a month ago for the Forerunner 735xt which can be found here.

The problem on the 735xt is not fixed though the bug report shows status "Complete".

Here's the crash log from the Vivoactive HR

ERROR: Too Many Arguments Error
DETAILS: Failed invoking <symbol>

This problem is not corrected in the 735xt either.

Given that these are older devices I suspect that working on the code for them is a low priority.

That said, please let me know if you intend to fix these problems.

    I'll keep hoping.

    If the problems on those devices do get addressed, is there any system for sending me a notification ?

    I don't expect that the fix will be in some future SDK release but rather in the underlying code on the 735xt and VA-HR.

    How might I know if / when the problems are addressed ?

  • I believe I had marked the related 735 XT report as complete (arguably erroneously) because it's something that would likely need to be handled by the product team to address what appears to be an integration error. The same applies here. My concern is that since this products are fairly old, as you mention, they won't be prioritized anytime soon. I can't say these absolutely won't be addressed, but I would not anticipate a fix soon.
