Hi,
I'm unable to submit a new watch app to the Connect IQ Store. Every submission attempt
fails, and I'd appreciate help from Garmin staff.
What happens
1. First upload (Oct 22, 2026) via apps.garmin.com/developer/upload: the store showed
"Verified" but also "Signature check failed".
2. Since then, every attempt to submit the app shows "server communication error".
In the browser network log, the request
POST /api/ciq-developerservices/developers/<developerId>/apps
returns HTTP 400 with:
{"message": "Exception while adding app for clientId=APPS_LIBRARY, developerId=<developerId>."}
3. Same result in Safari 27.2 on macOS, on retries, and across different days.
Correlation IDs (for Garmin staff to look up in the logs)

App / build info
- App ID: b350d379e08d4a8d9acd8bfeac536a4c
- Type: watch-app, minApiLevel 4.2.0
- Built and exported with Connect IQ SDK 9.3.0 (2026-10-20), multi-device .iq
What I've verified locally
- manifest.sig2 validates (RSA/SHA-256) against my developer key.
- Every PRG's signature block validates (both SHA-1 and SHA-256 signatures), using the same key.
- So the .iq itself appears correctly signed.
My guess
The first attempt may have left a partial or stale app record for this App ID, so "add app"
now throws. I can't change the App ID because our companion phone app already depends on it.
I emailed [email protected] on Oct 27 and haven't had a reply yet.
Could a Garmin staff member check the logs for the IDs above, or clear the stale record?
I can share my developer ID privately.
Thanks!
