I use "Music Control Widget" all the time, however the only functionality I can use without looking at the watch is STOP\PLAY and SKIP.
For all the other options (like VOLUME UP/DOWN, PREVIOUS) you need to go 1 or 2 menu levels deeper.
If some gestures were supported you could:
Swipe Up -> VOLUME UP
Swipe Down -> VOLUME DOWN
Swipe Right -> SKIP
Swipe Left -> PREVIOUS
