CIQQA-130

We'll see if we can get this fixed, but if it's an issue with our community platform, we may need to wait for the provider to offer a fix.

Meta: Connect IQ Bug Reports section doesn't show more than 5 comments unless you click oldest or newest

This probably isn't the right place for it, but the thread I opened in the CIQ Discussion forum doesn't seem to have been noticed. (Although I've seen other people complain about this issue before)

The problem is that any discussion longer than 5 comments gets lost for anyone who just navigates to the bug report normally. (I have no idea if people in the CIQ team see bug reports the same way that regular forum members do -- i.e. with the exact same UI/UX.)

That bug report has 8 comments, but you won't see all of them unless you click Oldest or Newest.

Someone looking at that post might not even realize there are more than 5 comments unless they look carefully at the the comment counter.

  • I spent some time looking at this based on your original discussion thread, but I don't see a way to address this. It looks like this behavior may have started right around the time we did an update to our community platform, so perhaps there's a bug. I have a meeting with our IT department scheduled in a couple of weeks and I can raise this issue, but I don't see anything I can control in the admin panels to affect this, unfortunately.
