Instinct Crossover AMOLED no transparent png supported

Is it correct, that the Instinct Crossover AMOLED have no support for transparences with PNG files.

With an Instinct 3 AMOLED all transparent png's working. I can olny check this in simulator.

From my tests the Instinct Crossover AMOLED does support transparent PNG. Is there some documentation you are referencing that indicates that it does not?
