The gesture doesn't switch the light on

The gesture in the stock widgets switch the light on but not in CIQ widgets.

I guess that part would be a bug, assuming that your General Use setting is for the gesture to switch the light on. So are you saying that the gesture never turns on the light for CIQ widgets no matter what your settings are?

    But you originally said this:

"One user has informed me about it (FR965). My f7 20.22 also.

But if your 965 works I've checked settings, And the problem is the gesture during activitiy, I have OFF and it means widget are treated as activity. The same is with the watch faces during activitiy..."

Your original argument seems to be that you think During Activity settings should not apply to (CIQ) widgets and watch faces when an activity is in the background. And my argument is that behaviour is consistent with everything else Garmin does.

It sounds to me like you are saying the During Activity settings should not apply during an activity. It seems that you and I have different definitions of "during activity". I think it means while an activity is being recorded (regardless of whether an activity screen is in the foreground) and you think it means while an activity screen is being displayed on the watch.

To me it seems like Garmin agrees with my definition. I think Garmin's definition is simpler and more useful. Garmin watches revolve around activity recording functionality, and the whole watch behaves differently while you are in an activity (again, for example, you cannot sync your watch while an activity is being recorded). Therefore it's useful to have a set of display settings which are specific to activity recording.

    2. Why the stock widgets react in other way?

If that's the case, then it sounds like a bug.

On my FR955, I see consistent behaviour:

    - During Activity settings are applied when an activity is being recorded (in the background or foreground). This activity could be recorded by a native activity profile or a CIQ app

    - General Use settings are applied when an activity is not being recorded

It doesn't matter whether the activity is in the foreground or background, or what screen I am currently looking at. All that matters is whether an activity is being recorded.
