Garmin Express - Wrong Language

No, the error didn't go anywhere.
I have the same thing. Garmin Express (my guess) shows the last added language. Because right now it is Chinese. English-speaking users are complaining about this problem, but I can't help or affect it in any way. This is a bug on the Garmin side

I don't know anyone from Garmin, so I can only speculate based on prejudice and some formal encounter with certain individuals born in the USA. They don't really get the idea of languages or internationalization. They don't really care either. I can see how they tried it with their own app and everything worked fine, because it was only in English, and then they closed the case. They never update these bug reports here, so we can't know if they threw it away or are working on it full power or it's a ticket but with a very low priority. Or I wouldn't be surprised if some of the bugs reported here in the forum were actually fixed and they never took the time to write about it in the forum.

Hi flocsy. It's some time ago that this thread had ended but I'm wondering if in the meantime a solution/workaround was being found. At least the software itself does still behave the same, I installed two datafield-addon's that must be configured in GE and whatever I do, both are using random languages that I don't understand. Very embarrassing that after such a long time Garmin has not been able to resolve this.

Nothing you can do except begging Garmin to fix it. If you look at this thread that started 2 years ago, you can extrapolate your chances...

Yikes, I have the very same issue. Is there a way to solve it ? My phone is too old and doesn't support the Garmin app, can't try to fix it that way...
