Garmin Beta-published Connect IQ app crashes

Hello guys,

I've published a beta version of my very first app for my Garmin Edge 520plus which is just a datafield app with Heart Rate, Power, Elapsed Distanced, Timer, Cadence, Elevation.

And I could say it was tricky to find out how to code in Monkey C language (with VS-Code),

When I tested it on my computer it worked well

But on my Garmin device, I see the 'IQ!' icon.

What could be the reason ? Maybe other developers faced the same issue with thier very first app ?

From the manifest.xml, shall I necessarly add Permissions and Languages ?

The IQ! icon means your app crashed. Check the device for a file called \GARMIN\APPS\LOGS\CIQ_LOG.YAML.

If it was a permissions problem, then either your app wouldn't compile, or it would crash in the simulator when a function is called that requires a given permission. Since neither or that seemed to happen, then I doubt it's a permissions problem. I also don't think it's a language problem, as that typically doesn't result in a crash,
