feature-request: add sleep data to the sdk (2025)

Please add sleep related data to the SDK so apps/widgets can read the sleep data (similar to ActivityMonitor.getBodyBatteryHistory(),at least the stages with the timestamps, maybe also the aggregated time for the stages and the sleep score)

I opened this "new" request as requested by and as a continuation of https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/feature-request-add-sleep-data-to-the-sdk .

  • Regardless of whether Garmin knows or doesn’t know what they’re capable of or how risky this is, it feels like we’ve been left on read and ghosted. They acknowledged the issue, then we were told to open a new ticket, and we have Richard, Brandon, Johnatan, and Saint Joseph looking into it — yet there’s still no information, no feedback, no communication from their side, and that is what irritates me here.
