era doesn't work

windows 10, sdk 4.0.6

Era worked but has stoped, so:

- there is problem with Garmin's servers (there is "fetching..." and after some time "Aserver error has occurred. Please try again later") but from time to time there is no error connection and no errors in list (bu I don't know if empty list is empty because no era error)

- or something happened after java update (to jre1.8.0_311)

In my firewall I have the same settings lik firefox and firefox run without problem

If it's not worked for you for months, there is something else going on, like maybe how you're configured. It worked for me up until a couple weeks back

Undoubtedly, but nothing that I have the wherewithal to effect.

For example, there was a period where it was a security cert issue at Garmin's end that essentially isolated Ireland as something was broken in Garmin's infrastructure specifically for that certificate... There were threads about using virtual firewall spoofing etc. to fix it, but as I had no desire to irrevocably break something and even less desire to pay a monthly charge for IP spoofing to make me look like I live somewhere I don't...
