Epix Track Mode - Freeze and Reset when paused

When using Garmin Epix in track mode, if I paused the activity and hit resume later, when I try to resume, the watch freezes, then crashes and restarts. After this point, the activity is still there and paused, however when I hit start again, it no longer picks up any distance. The watch only records total time. Only way round this is to end and save activity, then start again

Not to be super pedantic, but the Epix (2nd gen) is commonly referred to as Epix.

Just sayin, it's not "wrong" to call it an Epix.
