Edge 1060 doesn't appear in Compatible devices list after export and upload

I updated a few apps to support the Edge 1060.  The test in the simulator and export are successful, but after updating the app in Connect IQ, the Edge 1060 does not appear in the compatible devices list.

  • It showed up for us on the upload summary just earlier today, so that part works now.

One more thing we noticed with the SDK 9.3.0 device files: the Edge 1040 device file (part 006-B3843-00) now sets firmwareVersion 3135, so an app exported with the current device files gets minFirmwareVersion="3135" in the manifest. The latest public Edge 1040 firmware is 31.33, so the store tells 1040 users to update their device and the Install button stays disabled (we got a user report within an hour of publishing).

he same files raised 1050/850/550 to 3220 and 840/540 to 3133, and the 1060 entry has no firmwareVersion at all. The device files shipped before SDK 9.3.0 had 3130 for all of these. We rebuilt with 3130 as a workaround; could the 1040 value be corrected to 3133 or lower?

  • Can someone confirm whether this is still an issue? I suspect that apps were uploaded before we had enabled the device on the store. The store would have accepted PRGs that had support for the 1060 because the store was "aware" of the device, but since we hadn't enabled it yet, it wasn't visible anywhere. It is appearing for one of the apps Garmin maintains:

  • I just came on here to log the same issue.

Edge 1060 device is in the IQ file but not on the upload summary.
