Recently I had a bug (see: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/feature-request-add-maxlength-maxsize-attributes-to-string-resources-and-fail-at-compilation-if-a-string-is-too-long ) which made me think, why do we need to translate the :units passed to createField, if it seems to use the translated string in the fitContributor.xml anyway. Can you remove this requirement form the documentation, or add some explanation on why it is (still?) required?
