Contact Developer User Feedback ReplyTo Address Missing

I know this is probably not the correct forum however I am not sure where it belongs. 

Have there been recent changes to the Garmin App store ? The two messages received in the past 2 days from users via the Contact Developer link do not have a reply to address. It is now impossible to reply to users who send a query to the developer ?

  • It makes sense that it would have changed when GDPR was introduced. If you use the web site to contact the developer it does highlight that your email address will not be shared and allows you to enter an address. The ConnectIQ app should at least do the same thing. I would prefer the default action be to include the address and the user have to make the decision to remove it. Thanks

  • It does include the device type and FW version automatically.

  • that's bad. I'd say a bug is too light of category for that, well at least we know the cause....

    did it include the device details in the email? (it showed while I was posting the contact dev message)

    hopefully the fix will be to automatically include the address of the user (and hopefully the fix will not be to provide a text box for the user to enter his email address)

  • Nope.  I had tried it myself with one of my apps before I posted here.  No way to reply, unless the user specifically adds their email address in the body of the request.

  • "In the new Connect IQ App that just came out, when you do a "contact developer", there's no option to include a "reply to" email address.  That to me is a bug in the Connect Store App."

    I've sent you a contact dev on hike2 Jim through the connect iq store app, does it include my email details?
