I think the dev onboarding process need to be improved. Here is what happened:
0. Professional app developer trying to start developing for Garmin Fenix (etc) watches. Unable to do so due to multiple issues.
1. Downloaded Connect IQ SDK manager
2a. Tried to sign up for a new account, could not as the login screen times out.
2b. Tried to contact support, which answered:
"Unfortunately, your request cannot be processed as this point of contact only covers API-related incidents.
For your inquiry, we need to ask you to use the Connect IQ forum as we do not provide a dedicated support address for Connect IQ."
3. Tried to login to forums, but the email security passphrase never appeared.
4. Finally got into the forums, where I am submitting this "idea" right now. :) ... still giving the SDK login a shot
5. Ok, so after 20 tries or so, got log in working, tried to sign up for new account: tells me there is already account associated with the email.
6. Went back to login with the existing consumer acco credentials and got this:
"We’re unable to access your account. Please try again later, or contact Product Support."
I am seriously trying to start developing Garmin watch apps. - With your current flow I feel i might be the only new one if I reach that far.
