Connect IQ causes watch face to crash

If you comment out settings elements in the settings.xml it will cause the watch face to crash inexplicably when that version is distributed to the watch by Connect IQ.

It should be noted that the simulator version works correctly with commented out settings.

    On a crash, the ciq_log file gets created for you in the logs directory.  You see the crash but no ciq_log file?  You will see this on the real watch.

    Thanks, tried creating the TXT file but nothing gets written to it.

    Could this be be because system trace is removed from app,iq files?

    Could there be a caching issue?  [though tried clearing the storage cache and force stopping the Connect IQ app to no avail].

    IQ! just appears on the watch face for no reason.
