can't download the SDK Manager on Mac

Hi, i'm trying to download the SDK Manager on Mac to develop some watchfaces. By the download never started. Does anyone else has the same problem or a solution?

What steps dis you take and where did it fail? I'm developing on Mac with no such issues.
