Bug with personal and developer account

Hi!

I’m not sure how this happened, but it looks like the accounts in my Developer Dashboard have somehow been mixed up.

I have two accounts:

  1. The first one is my personal account. I created it a long time ago and use it for my personal activities.

  2. The second one was created more recently so that I could register for the developer program and publish my surfing app.

Everything was working fine for some time. I published the app using the second account—the developer account—and updated it several times. As proof, I can show that the email address used to log in to that account has received messages about app uploads and a review submitted for the app.

However, a couple of days ago, when I logged in to the dashboard using my developer account, I found that my app was missing. While trying to figure this out, I logged in to the Developer Dashboard with my personal account. I was able to access it, and I can see my app there, update it, and reply to the review.

I can also see that the developer name displayed on the app matches the name I set on the developer account. My personal account has a different name.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

  •  Can you please email us at [email protected] with both your developer account a personal account information so we can investigate? Please include a link to the app you have published, as well. This is the first time I've heard of something like this, but we need to look into specifics before we speculate about what may have occurred. I can assure you that it was not due to any "dragging and dropping random things."

  • Not this, but it's not unheard of that Garmin mixes up strange things. Though I have to admit this one is one of the wildest. It means that this bug (or shaky handed Garmin employer dragging and dropping random things) can move apps between random developers...
