[bug]Translations Complication.shortLabel

1) [BUG] In Dutch the Calender shortLabel is translated to CALORIEEN.

Prob been a search/ replace action on CAL.

2) [GENERAL] A lot of translated shortLabels are not short. For example Notifications in English is 'NOTIF' and in Spanish is 'NOTIFICACIONES', where it were better if it was not 'translated' and stayed 'NOTIF' .

    Exactly. So deffinitely Garmin AL (or is it Garmin AI? :) sent the wrong link, which doesn't explain how you ended up here :) 

    But if you're developing in Monkey C, then this is the right forum, however from the title and the description of the bug report it's not clear at all. What is the "calendar" you're referring to? Can we see a screenshot?

    What is your relevant code? Where do you get the shortLabel translation from? Is it your code? Is it some Garmin built-in code on the watch? Which watch, which firmware version? If it's BETA, then it's a KNOWN ISSUE, they always lag with the translations (though that probably would explain that it's in English, but not that it's translated to something else)

    There are several API's, one for Connect IQ apps (where we are at in this forum) and one for Connect apps (on your phone). The misunderstanding might be in Garmins reaction in the linked post, however I only develop for Connect IQ as mentioned. So that means I develop on device applications.

    I think there one's (or possibly more) misunderstandings here.

    Can you add a screenshot? Are you talking about the "Connect IQ" phone app? (BTW if yes: android or iphone?)

     RE: [BUG] Language - Complication shortLabel Calender translated to CALORIEEN in Dutch instead of a shortlabel for Agenda. 

    There they suggest to post it in a developer program, as I don't develop for Connect API I post it here. I hope if this is not the place where it needs to be it gets forwarded to the right department as I ran in to it as a Connect IQ developer.
