Broken Datafield - Backgroundcolor

With reference to my last message ( https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/broken-datafield-views ), which has been solved in the meantime, the following bug exists now:


Changing the background of the data fields for the activity "Running" to "white" or "black" automatically changes the background for the activity "Walking" and "Treadmill" to the same color.

    Just had a look at my Vivoactive HR. It's the same, changing the background colour for one app (activity) changes it for all. I'd never noticed before. There's another activity colour setting,  "Accent Color", that maintains different colours for different activities.

    This is likely a firmware issue--we'll get this reported to the product team for additional investigation.

    yes. it is a problem with every data field because it is a bug in the background color in the current firmware. For the activities "Running", "Walking" and "Treadmill" you cannot select a different background color at the moment. If the color is changed in one activity, it will automatically be changed in the other activities, even if you had the different color there before.

    I don't believe he is talking about a ConnectIQ bug. He is complaining that changing the background color for one activity profile is affecting the background color for other activity profiles.

    Or maybe it is that DataField.getBackgroundColor() is returning the wrong value after the background color has changed.
