Back missing for menu in widget?

In the App version of my program, I see a back button/icon for menus on my (real) 1030 (using SDK 3.1.9.

In the Widget version of my program, I see an X (not a back button/icon). That doesn't behave the same way either.

I'm pretty sure this didn't happen with older versions.

What's up with that?

Still extracting information... if you're expecting an onBack handler to be invoked, can I assume that you're using a Menu2 and a Menu2InputDelegate?

This is still broken.

It's a horrible bug because it looks like things worked but the program state gets all messed up.

I added a "Back" item to the menu that calls OnBack(). That works but it sure is ugly.
