Hi Garmin Community
When I try to listen to my podcasts on my VENU 2S, they get skipped fast only playing a short time or dont even start playing. I think the problem is that the podcasts contained chapter desciption streams (txg3) which are taken as a timebase for the file. So when I deleted the txg3 chapter description files the podcasts plays normaly.
To reproduce:
1.Download an episode of one of the podcasts (see below)
2. Plug your watch with the usb cable and drag n'drop the episodes *.m4a file into the Music-Folder or Use Garmin Express.
3. Try to listen to the podcast (should not play or very short playing)
To fix:
1. Install and open VLC-Media-Player and then press CTRL+R.
2. Add the episodes *.mp4 file to the conversion files and select with the drop down bar below (Convert)
3. Create a new profile by clicking the new profil button to the right.
4. Set a name "test_garmin", choose MP4/MOV encapsulation, uncheck Videocodec, check Audiocodec and check "keep original", uncheck subtitiels.
5. Click create and choose the profile in the dropdown.
6. Define an outputfile *.m4a
7. CLick Start
8. After uploading the new file (delete the old file first / replace it) -> the episode should be played normaly.
