APP UPLOAD ERROR: There were no compatible devices found for the part numbers declared in the manifest file. 006-B4175-00

Hi,

Just added a new device to my manifest. Code all runs fine on the siumulator.

Uploading the revised app to Garmin App store fails even after repeated rebuilds/re-export.

Any ideas??

Regards,

David

  • Same problem here. solved deactivating both System 5 preview devices

  • See "New and announcements" about System 5, the two preview devices, and the 4.1.0-beta1 SDK.  You don't want to include the two preview devices when building an IQ file.

  • Got the same issue.

Got a lot of pain to figure out what was wrong.

Finally, I have recognised selected devices in the list "fenix 6 Pro System 5 Preview" and "Venu 2 System 5 Preview", have excluded them and wow app update is going without issue.

I have no idea what are these devices, but excluding them from Build Targets in the manifest I can upload my apps again.

  • Many thanks to Garmin Team, issue has been fixed on my side.

  • Today I updated the Venu2 and Venu2s files with "SDK Manager"
After that I executed the "Export wizard".
When trying to upload a new * .iq file to the store, I saw an error "There were no compatible devices found for the part numbers declared in the manifest file.006-B4181-00". I deleted the section in Venu2s\compiler.json and re-executed the "Export wizard"
When trying to upload a new * .iq file to the store, I saw an error "There were no compatible devices found for the part numbers declared in the manifest file.006-B4180-00." I deleted the section in Venu2\compiler.json and re-executed the "Export wizard"
When trying to upload a new * .iq file to the store, no error was found, i.e. the update was downloaded successfully.
From the above, I can conclude that by updating the device base for the SDK, GARMIN did not bother to add new devices to the store base.
Why should I find GARMIN imperfections?
