Yesterday I put one comment about another apps which has the same problems but it has disappeared
Nobody want to see bad news... so to time resolving I give up, I don't want to see comment like "my buttery is empty after the night" even I have good algorithm.
But I think, Garmin should think what to do with it to to develop it's platform.
- is it mean that is impossible to write app saving battery due to it's run always in high power?
- when I go to activity but not start it, there is info "going into saving battery" - it means it is impossible to change power mode - but not for ciq app unfortunately, it will be useful to add this for developers maybe only to go into low power
I've read some developers description of their app and they the same problem like me:
It works but the battery drain makes it pretty unusable. With 8 hours sleep I used 25% of the battery (on my 735XT) and 17% on another night. The other similar app I've used is around 10% per evening. Not been updated in many months so won't assume this will be improved.
In addition to the low/high power modes as seen in a watch face, the processors generally have a low and high power mode of their own. A watch face always runs in the processor's low power mode, while device apps, in the processor's high power mode.
