App Store URLs can have two formats:
A: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/[app id, e.g. "id..."]
B: https://apps.apple.com/[country code, e.g. "us", "fr", "ja"]/app/apple-store/[app id, e.g. "id..."]
The Garmin submission form does not allow URL type A (screenshot 1). URL type B works (screenshot 2), even if a nonsensical country code is provided (screenshot 3) - which would always lead to a "The page you're looking for can't be found" page.
URL type B opens the App Store in the specified region instead of the user's own region, and should therefore not be used in global contexts.
I'd appreciate it if the responsible team can have a look at this issue.

Link type B is required, leading all users to e.g. a US store front.
Link type B is accepted even if the country code is nonsensical.
