App store search field ignores key data

To reproduce:

Enter developer name in search field. (Eg: “Gdcsoft”)

Expected result:

Search results should include apps of specified type from developer in search results. 

Actual result:

Search returns a tiny subset of developer products.

    Anything on this?

    I am currently searching ConnectIQ and _CANNOT_ find most products that I have built even by incredibly specific terms (such as the actual product title).

    If I cannot find my own work, how will anybody else?

    Worse still...

    If I search, for example, for “Cadence”... NONE of my cadence products show up, but my Power Dial (that is related to my Cadence Dial2) does. 

    The search is, I think, using out of date information and using it selectively in a problematic and deeply unsatisfactory way. 

    It is all but useless from the POV of finding content...
