Thanks for the reports--to make sure we don't miss something critical, please report separate issues on new threads in the bug reports tool rather than adding new issues as comments.
The modal window is by design. I'm happy to request an improvement because I would prefer it otherwise as well.
next bug..
[App Settings Editor] from IDE and from sim doesn't show the same values
next bug is that settings window is modal so i have to always go to menu and run again.
btw, what is this option for? There is option [App Settings Editor] in IDE, so why it's another?
