7/8 Fields Layout in real fr955 device, but not in Sim?

I get reports from field that my data field app is not working in 7/8 Fields Layout. But not such layout exist for fr955 in Sim. 

Are layouts missing in Sim for fr955?

    Also, it’s entirely possible that at the time the 7/8 layouts were added to devices other than 955 in the sim, the 955 didn’t have 7/8 layouts IRL yet. I don’t know what the timeline is. Either way, I agree that this is pretty annoying.

    Garmin also has the related problem that when you report a certain type of bug at a certain time, the same type of bug doesn’t get fixed in the future.

    Yeah, iirc this isn’t the first time this has happened with Garmin, and I’m not sure it’s not uncommon in the industry.

    Unfortunately all these changes are random. Even now that you noticed it we don't know if it's intentional or a mistake and if now it behaves like the real device or not...

    I hate this. We call it in Hebrew "small head". When there's a bug about some "specific" new device is missing the 7,8 layout and then they add it to that device but don't do the next step to check it if it's not missing from other devices...
