DataFields : 367 RunFields

I am using a VivoActive running 3.10. I noticed after upgrading to 3.0 that the data fields were not appearing as they had previously. At first I thought I just needed to add them again. When I try to add them nothing appears after I select 1/2. Not sure what else I need to do. I really liked the data fields and hope a fix is on the the way. Thanks.

that not good. However, I do not know how to help as I do not have access to a VA.
In addition to that, I've been seeing some notes from Jim_m_58 saying that there's quite a lot of things which looks wrong on the VA (not sure what version of the FW tho)

When u say cannot appear etc, are there any errors?
Can u put a the following blank txt file into your USB\GARMIN\APPS\LOGS folder?
CIQ_LOG.txt
Xxxx.txt where xxxx = the name of the 367 app name in UAB\GARMIN\APPS folder (u have to figure out what is the xxxx name cos it's diff for diff watches and diff users)

As an update. I just had a VA user (PRO Plan) that reported no issues on 3.1 FW.

Could possibly be a memory limitation? The PRO plan app is compiled solely for the individual watches vs the one on the App Store which is combined watches.

I won't know unless u could provide some logs or such.

OK this may be a total newbie question but what does "Pace 10s" mean?

I don't understand statement about 7 data fields. Is that a complain that "why so little" or "why so many" or...?

I think it means that you only are allow to display two rows (six fields) on the VA. The seventh field is the system one.

I really like the datafield. I'm waiting for the fix that should allow to have three fields on the VA :)

I doubt there will ever be a fix for the VA and the datafields.

I've just uploaded a new copy. Getting frustrated. Code is getting too big with all the watches I'm trying to support within 1 single program/code.
I have attempted to clean it up a but more and saved a measly 1-2kb (from 14/16kB to 12kb - the max for a datafield is 16kb of memory)

I'll see how it goes for the time being - and any hope for getting userstore / user customisation on a datafield based on this codebase would be "tough". (what was the famous line again? 200KB memory is more than sufficient? :-p)

I was also hoping to put in EPIX suppport but found out that the font used by the EPIX is not very nice and they are way too BIG to fit 3 fields into 1 row. That and... looking at possibly decoupling the code to support similar watches.

eg:
F3/D2B - 1 code
Epix - 1 code
FR920xt - 1 code (unless I can utilise custom font such that EPIX and 920xt can use the same code/app)
VA - 1 code

thanks for posting here. I saw ur review of the store and was already ready to ignore you (cos I reviews or comments on that site is non actionable)

I will take a look at it with my F3 as well. (So at least if it does not works for me... )
What Watch firmware version as well as CIQ version are you??
