WatchFace: Fenix Watch Face G1/G2/G2 Light

Just waded through 9 pages of watch faces, tried several, and I still think G1 is the best.

G1 Second Dot

Great Face!
Is there a way to keep the second hand "Dot" on all the time?
Seems to disappear after 5 to 7 seconds.

NOTICE:

This watch face requires firmware version 3.10 or higher. There are reports of problems with the watch face and this is due to not being on a current release of the fenix 3 firmware.

Have you changed the watch face in the settings after the install under ConnectIQ watchfaces? If that was done, they are very similar, what is the part your missing indicating to you it is still G1? Sorry for the questions, but need to understand how your determining it is still G1.

What does the blue and red dots represent? Like which is the Step and goal?

I have a small request, as I do exercise quite often, getting the steps isn't a real concern of mine, but rather the Recovery Time.

Would you be able to create a watch face similar to G2 that uses the dots to show Recovery time instead?
Using the concept of each colored dot equats to an hour or so.

I am still getting the G1 second hand rather then then blue/red dot even after selecting G2 face in setting.

I understand your disappointed in the change. I personally like the larger hands but needed to be fair to the long time user base and brought back the thinner hands. That being said, G3 will be coming out as soon as it is approved. This will feature a white background and larger hands to start but will shortly allow users to choose the G1/G2 hands or the new larger hands as well as customize colors of the hands and choose between a white/black background if all goes to plan. These features will most likely get pushed back to the G1/G2 series as well.

Now ... to be fair to me ... I put in a large amount of my time with no compensation from Garmin or users while providing what I feel is a good set of features between the G-series watch faces, single run/hike fields, and other contributions. In addition, I provide ports of certain projects to multiple watches that I don't even use which increases my time commitment with absolutely zero benefit to me. Comments and feedback I receive are always taken into consideration which can be seen in the changes made to the submissions I make to the store and am pleased to see yourself and others using the forum to work with developers. If you (and others) can be patient you might still end up with something in the end which is enjoyable and looks like the newer version you liked but feel free to un-install and move on because in the end these are free and are what they are ...
