Settings

• Proceed by link to weather provider web-page and register there:

• Pass by link “Fields: Change Response Fields” to adjust data-list to be received by your device. It is strictly important to make this step exactly as described below. Extra selection will not provide extra data, but, due to memory overload can cause watch face malfunction or memory overload or increase of battery consumption. Metric/non-metric systems will be converted by watch face.
  
• In part “Current Weather” leave selected only: “temp_c”; “wind_kph”; “wind_dir”; “humidity” and “vis_km”.
  
• Click “Save” button in the end of the page. Settings completed.
  
• Copy your API Key from top of present page, or from previous page.
  
• Before activation of Weather Forecast on your device it is important to update your GPS position, to receive weather forecast for your location. Simplest way – synch time of your device with GPS: on your device Menu–Settings-System-Time-Sync with GPS)
  
• Open Active Rotor Settings menu (through Connect IQ or Garmin Express) and insert your API key in “Weather API” field.
  
• Activate “Show Diagram or Web Data” and select in “Diagram Type or Web Data” – “Weather Forecast”
  

Error List:

• “No Data”. Sometimes response from server comes with some delay, just wait for couple minutes. If forecast will not appear – check if your device connected to your cell-phone, if your cell-phone connected to internet. If all connected, but no data anyway, reason can be, that your present GPS position not saved. Just synch your device time with GPS.
  
• “Error: 400” can appear if GPS position not saved or if Weather API entered wrong.
  
• “Error 401” or “Error: 403” can appear with wrong Weather API

Garmin provides Web Calls for watch face only through Background process. In same time, minimum period of time between calls to B/G process – 5 minutes. Due to this, if you are switching between Weather forecast and Tide table, closet update will be after 5 minutes from your selection. During this 5 min “No Data” will be displayed. All next updated will be done normally – every hour with proper data display.

Before usage:
Proceed to: www.worldtides.info and register.
Next, open: https://www.worldtides.info/settings and copy your API Key.
Insert API Key into field “Tide API” in Active Rotor settings.
Activate “Show Diagram or Web Data” and select in “Diagram Type or Web Data” – “Tide Table” in Active Rotor settings.

!!!Important!!! Before first activation of “Tide Table” obtain GPS position for your device. Easiest way – synchronize time of your device with GPS (Menu–Settings-System-Time-Sync with GPS).
