If you have a spare watch you can give this watch to your fans so that they can see how you are doing in the race.

What your fans do:

Press the LAP button and choose the menu option START GUN at the moment the start signal is given
Use the UP/DOWN button to set the distance they're standing at (eg the 10k board)
As runners pass by they'll see the runner's average speed and know about how long they'll have to wait until you will pass by
