A meditation/yoga app that tracks as an activity the heart rate, stress, HRV and provides vibration alerts. Supports Vivoactive 3.

For other Round Watches that support Connect IQ >= 2.4 see this thread.
  • Works great on my Foreruner 935. Some suggestions: Activity type (yoga or meditation) should be at session level, not global. So you can configure inividual session type. Would be great if you can send the HRV data to the garmin connect statistics (stress HRV https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report/65/all/last_four_weeks )

Hi pasor1,thanks for the suggestions! I'll implement the first suggestion with the activity type in the next version of the app. At global level you will still be able to specify the default initial activity type for new session. Regarding HRV - those measurements tracked by the app are custom fit fields which Garmin Connect IQ cannot display in reports. Right now reports pick up only native fields as far as I can see. The stress values and HRV are unrelated to what gets monitored by the native stress/HRV widgets.

I just want to say thanks for the great app! Running on my vivoactive 3(FW v.5.0) it finally stopped recording GPS data during the activity. :)
  • Thanks for this app!!!

    I have two "problems":

    1. I set the default activity type in global settings but in garmin connect it is stored as "other". Dot a big deal, i change it after recording in carmin connect
    2. Can i see more metrics if i set HRV setting to "On Detailed"? Garmin connect shows the same graph in both settings (HRV Successive Differences(ms))

    Hi, imagodespira,
    1. Yes, the Meditating activity is stored as "other" as there is no Meditation category. Due to limitation in the Garmin's SDK activities of type Yoga can only be called Yoga when generated by Connect IQ app. If you want your activity to be classified as Yoga - use that.
    2. Did you check the user guide for configuring a session? You need to select HRV Tracking On for the currently selected session to get the extra readings:
Configuring a session -> 2.2 In Add New/Edit you can configure -> HRV Tracking. The tracked metrics are listed for each option.
