  • Thanks for a great widget!

I would appreciate week numbers, in Sweden and in a lot of other countries we use it a lot! Is it hard to incorporate?

I think about the number of week but:
    1. Its problem with space on the display, I need 6 rows of space to show week days
    2. maybe different country differently numbered weeks, this is like timezones and day light savings. In Poland for example first week in the year is this week they have at least 4 days of new year - in 2015 first week are start 29 december, but in 2016 first week are start 4 january.
    3. I try solve this problems ;)

    Good news for You!
0.0.6 - add week numbers (ISO 8601 - You must set monday as first day of week)
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601#Week_dates

    But I'm happy in 50% ;)
Layout IMO "weighs more on the left".
  • Its all I wanted, an easy access calendar with the most essential information!
    Perfect, thank you!!:D
  • Mine just comes up "no more events today". Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?

You probably figured it out by now but if anyone else run into your issue it might be that you're looking at Garmins "Calendar" and not the "CalendarWidget".
  • Nice Widget!

First I just want to say that this is a nice, simple, functional widget. Thanks!

That being said, the "IQ" logo has to go. It seems that this is a Garmin issue? I don't want it to feel like it's "loading" every time I swipe to the widget. This is just bad design on Garmin's part. No one wants to feel like they're waiting for something to happen.

Also, could you invert the colors so it matches the UI of the rest of the widgets? Black background with white/light colored numbers?

Those two things would make this perfect. Thanks again for your time and effort on this.

The IQ icon is a function of the firmware itself, and there is a delay designed to be there - so CIQ and the widget won't fire up when you are just swiping through.

There have been requests to allow the widget to specify it's own icon and/or use the widget name during this initial pause.

That last (widget name) has just been added to fenix 3 firmware version 3.40.

Sadly, as it's at the top of the screen, it gets easily truncated both sides. Would have been better to move the IQ to the top, and put the widget name in the centre.

    Issue

There is a little bug in Fenix 3. When you select first day of the week Monday, there are several sequential numbers in the left side of the calendar that should be hiden
