  • Nice watch face. 2 remarks:
    • "Battery status on gesture on/off" what's the gesture ? I move my hand but I never see battery...
    • Day in french is strange... "Lun" for Lundi (Monday in french) has a rectangle a the place of "L".

    Thanks for your feedback :)
I have uploaded a small update, version 1.1.1.

What kind of watch do you have?
'Battery on gesture' works fine on my fenix 3. It is the same gesture that enables the seconds hand, but you have to turn the option on in the watch face settings.

However the gesture doesn't seem to work on my fenix 5, even though it works OK in the simulator. I'll look into it further.
The battery status is always visible when the battery is below 30%, so there's no risk of running out of battery without a fair warning.

The missing 'L' is fixed. I didn't know it was possible to select languages other than those supported by the watchface, so I omitted some letters from the custom date font to save a bit of space. I have now added all letters, so regardless of language the date should be OK.
  • nice update.

Battery on gesture doesn't work on my Forerunner 935 either. (not surprising since the Fenix 5 is almost identical to it)

BUT, i think it's related to a weird bug i've noticed before... the "gesture" doesn't always work on my 935, but the problem is fixed if i force quite the GC app on my iPhone or disable bluetooth on the watch.

the Garmin team is supposedly working on it, but no fix in sight...

not as big a deal now with SDK2.3.1 supporting always on seconds, but it of course still creates a problem for your battery gesture. yet, i think your 30% reminder is a good compromise anyway :)
  • Hi,

    Nice design ;)

Not see how to have the "all" minutes marks ? (like 3nd pictures)

    EDIT :
Even if I set "second hand" color to "none", I still have a second hand (white) on wrist gesture ?

    Hi,

To have all numbers make sure 'Date options' is set to none.
As for gestures and the seconds hand there is a bug somewhere, but since everything works just fine in the simulator it is a bit hard to figure out. I'm working on it.

  • The gesture thing is a bug in the 4.10 FW. If you have the backlight set to come on with gestures, it works. It's the same with the f5 devices. For the f5 devices, the 4.12 beta FW fixes it.
  • Hi,

Even with date option set to none, I have only the "five minutes" marks and no 1 minute marks :(
  • Hi,

Thre are some bug in day name in date. Today : Sunday -> Dimanche -> "Dim", Simplicity2 displayed a strange thing with a square in the day name.
We see also that the day number (25) is truncated and we do not know if it is "25" or "29"

Thursday : Jeudi -> Jeu if showing also strange day name and date was displayed "Jeudi 22" in place of "Jeu 22" and we have again the number "22" truncated.

If you want, in french days are :

    Lundi : Lun (Monday)
    Mardi : Mar
    Mercredi : Mer
    Jeudi : Jeu
    Vendredi : Ven
    Samedi : Sam
    Dimanche : Dim (Sunday)
  • Feature request, add an optional field for HR. moreover, for the F5/935, it appears one can use the "1hz" option to update HR frequently. this would be a huge improvement as i don't know of any analog watch faces out there right now that show "real time" HR (as opposed to the one in the history which is updated every 1-2 minutes).

i'm not a developer, but the call needed is: Activity.Info.CurrentHeartRate()

thanks for considering (although maybe this no longer is a simple watch face at least from a developing perspective ;)
