Watchface: VSWF (Very Simple Watch Face)

Hi!

Inspired/Based by Petr Koula's Watchface with custom font. Thank you Petr! you made me to make this watch face and it is my first one :cool:

In normal mode without all icons:

In a nutshell: Plain and simple watch face that includes all necessary information in small package

Main features:

- Good performance

- BIG distorted font (hour and minute)

- User settings disable/enable: Icons (alarm, bluetooth, do not disturb, notifications), disable/enable steps, disable/enable Date, disable/enable Battery

- User can select Font colours and Background colours via settings (Connect app or express)

- Seconds view when exit sleep mode or viewing watch

- Day & Date

- Steps count for today with movebar

- Info about bluetooth connection status, alarm status and notifications

- Battery bar with percentage value

Will be available on connect IQ store as soon as approved.

Mate looks good. I'm going to have a go with it.

Initial feedback, are you able to make it so you can change the font colours?

Other than that It's kinda what I'm after. Big and simple.

Nice watchface! Would love to see some customization options (possibility to remove icons) and change colour.

It should be fairly easy to make. What font colours should be available? Would it be enough to be able to change hour, minute and seconds colour?

I tried it for the day and have the following observations:

I think the font is a bit small. It does not appear as big as the pictures you have. I think it is a different font because in the pictures there is a washed out look and that is not the case in real life.

I am not sure about others but I don't use, can't see (old eyes), the seconds so if you make it configurable that would be one option to remove and perhaps use the space for a bigger time font?

As for colours, just the usual green, red, blue.

along the lines of agreeing with the prior post of making the main time bigger...

(see WF4Cool, for e.g.)

also, perhaps consider going with a smaller font for the steps count since you already have a progress bar, yielding more space. and finally, the seconds could potentially go alongside the progress bar on the same "line," and then allow space for a very large HH MM.

What garmin watch you are using? I would like to simulate with that to see if there is difference to my Fenix 3.

I am making seconds bigger and crisper in next release 1.4 as well as date. User selectable font colours are included as well for minute and hour :)

Next release 1.4 will have system font for date, seconds and steps

I tried to "Biggify" time font, but that caused problems in testing with some devices (part of the number missing). Maybe I need to create another version with just BIG font for some specific devices, BTW what is yours garmin device?

Version 1.4 is coming and is currently under field test prior release:

- User settings via Garmin connect app. User can change Hour font colour and Minute font colour
- Icon alignment based on center of the date
- Date and steps font changed to system font (being more crisp and clear)

New features:
- Step bar graphical tweaks to sizing and placing on screen
- Step bar colours based on steps related to step goal (steps < 25% goal: Red, steps < 50% goal: Orange, steps < 75% goal: Yellow, steps 75%-99% goal: Purple, steps >=100% goal: Green)

Bug fixes:
Some small fixes related to step bar filling

Unfortunately user settings via Garmin connect app did not make it to release (User can change Hour font colour and Minute font colour)

There is some issues even I thought I had nailed it already:(

so release 1.4 that is out now:

Tried 5x and font is really smaller:

I need to do fix for this. I can detect device model and choose bigger font automatically for 5x

Meanwhile try version 1.41:
