I have several reasons why I post here:

1. A lot of people had good suggestions and helped me to get the watchface to its current state. Thank you for that. It's a lot easier to discuss suggestions here than via email or the connect iq store.

2. Since I "only" own a Fenix 3, I can't test every feature of my watchface myself and so I need a platform for people, who want to help and give feedback. Um well yes, I want you as beta testers

So here we are. I am awaiting your wishes, your feedback and your comments.

Cheers

One of the few analog watch faces that provide so much information at a glance and still manages to maintain a professional and clean look!
Dev also responds to requests and updates the watch face very fast!
  • Can you add barometer trend please
    Thank You !

I am not sure, if I am able to add Barometer trend. It is possible on fenix5 derivates but I don't know how to do it on fenix 3 derivates.

This watch face is getting better and better every day. Air pressure gauge seems to be working fine on my F5. For me it has become by far the best analog watch face in Connect iq.

    A few suggestions/requests:

    1) i personally like the hand gauge better than the dot gauge but im sure there are others that like the latter one more. Would it be possible to give the option to choose between the two for the three gauges?
    2) In order to squeeze in more information without sacrificing something else, would it be possible to have an option to display additional info on the same gauge in a similar way like you do it for the activity gauge (top field/bottom field)?

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

Let me start answering your mail with the 2. point, because this is a very easy question for me. The simple answer is: Yes! This is something that I will implement. With sdk 2.6 Garmin solved a very big problem I had. They increased the watchface Memory of the Chronos and 5s from 58KB to 90KB (like the Fenix 5). The first thing I did, which you may have noticed, was increasing the colour depth of the gauges. They should look cleaner now on Fenix 5 derivates. Well, back to your question, my plan was making an activity gauge, that cycles the activity info, a sensor history gauge, that cycles values like (pressure, heartrate, altitude and temperature) and a sun/moon gauge, which cycles info like (sunset/surise, moonset/moonrise, moonphase). I don't like the position of the moonphase on the watchface right now.

For your first question, this is a lot of work. See the problem is, that the numbers on the scale of dials are part of the dial image. I have to draw a complete new dial for every different scale I have to use. If you consider, that we have 2 different colours for the dials and people already asking for more that will end in an enormous amount of dials. It's a little bit difficult for me to decide, if I could go without the dot gauge, maybe I should make a voting :). People on Fenix 5 and Fenix 5x also have the problem, that my gauges are too small, since i developed them for Fenix 3 derivates. So normally I should make 2 different sizes of gauges for the different watches. You see where that would end... Let me think a bit about this problem, maybe I find a solution.

    Cheers
  • I love this watchface on fenix 3 work good
Waiting for 5x to test it
  • Battery

Amazing watchface. You can make the battery indicator only with lines, no numbers? On Fenix 3 can't see the value, it' s so small. Thank you.

I haven't forgotten about you, I will make the numbers switchable in one of the next updates.
