How to Add Developer Location and Contact Information to Connect IQ Store?

Hello Garmin Connect IQ Team,

I'm a Connect IQ developer from Indonesia, publishing apps under the developer name CULTURESTOCK.ID. I've noticed that some apps display developer contact information and location (city and country), but my apps don't show these details.

I've checked my Developer Dashboard settings, but there are no options to enter this information. I also found that the Connect IQ Developer Registration Form is now closed. Could you please clarify how developers can register or verify their information and display their location in the Connect IQ Store?

  • This started with a reg from the EU, and without it, apps, even free ones, couldn't be installed in the EU.  I went through the process at that point.  Later, I think it became part of the process of getting a merchant account, but I think it also changed so it wasn't required for free apps

    Ah, that makes sense now! Thanks for explaining the background. I was wondering why some Connect IQ developer profiles show country information while mine doesn't.

    I'm currently publishing free apps, so maybe that's why I haven't been asked to complete that process. Also, it seems that Indonesia isn't supported yet for activating merchant account on Connect IQ, which might explain the difference.

    When this first started, a number of people didn't like it, because the location indicated a very small area (like their small town).  It didn't bother me, as the city I'm in is larger, area wise, than Los Angles.
