I am looking for whether there is enough user interest in this to take the time to share this app or not. It's already created but not in the Connect IQ Store yet.
When I sleep, I have a sleep mask on to keep out the light and distractions. I hate to have to wake up enough to look at my watch face to "see" what time it is, I would rather have a way to "feel" it. So now I have "Buzz Time" (well Claude helped too, but ownership is mine).
If you configure it as a Glance and set it as first in the list, then a {lower left /down} press followed by a select {upper right} press will provide you with a series of watch vibrations (buzzes) to give you the present time without needing to look at all. Can be set up for either 12 or 24 hours, and it provides one long buzz for 5, a short buzz for 1, and a gap followed by a quick double buzz for the half hours. For example, if the time is 12:30, then it would give you 2 long buzzes (5+5) and 2 short buzzes (+1+1) for the 12, and after a pause would give you the double buzz for the half hour. It stays that same setting until the turn of the hour or half hour. Nothing is needed (no permissions I believe). The only configuration choices so far are 12/24 hour and there are 3 "strengths": normal, strong, and stronger, that actually just change the duration of each buzz to give the motor more time to spin up.
This could also be something that is useful to those with a disability, so I may post similarly elsewhere if it is appropriate.
I am looking for whether I am the only one in the world that finds this useful, or if there are others with interest I will get it set up for more watches and create it in the Connect IQ store (It works on my Epix Pro Gen 2 51mm).
Thanks, Jeff
