HRV Balance : Check your autonomic nervous system balance frequently.

HRV Balance measures your autonomic balance from beat-to-beat (RR) intervals of the wrist optical sensor. Unlike overnight HRV status, it shows where you are right now: before a meeting, when you feel drained, or after a workout to check recovery.

What you get
- SNS and PNS indices (0-100 each, 50 = healthy-adult average) and RMSSD, measured over 2-5 minutes (default 3) while you sit still.
- One of five states (Recovery, Balanced, Tension, Activation, Depletion) with a "Strong" marker when one side clearly leads, plus an RMSSD grade adjusted to your profile age.
- Advice pages for each result: typical pattern, common causes, body signs and what to do.
- Tags per measurement (time of day, situation, mood), 7-day and 4-week trends, and a filterable history.
- Built-in Help with figures and tables. 8 languages: English, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

How to use
Wear the band snug, one finger above the wrist bone, sit down and rest your arm. Start the app, wait for "Ready", press START and stay still for 3 minutes. The watch vibrates when done and shows the result; press DOWN for the advice pages.

Notes
- The app needs the optical sensor in high-rate mode. If no pulse signal arrives within 30 seconds, the app tells you; exit with BACK and start it again, the second launch usually locks within a few seconds.
- Screen-on time follows your watch setting (System - Display - During Activity - Always On).
- A temporary recording session keeps the sensor active; nothing is saved to Garmin Connect.
- Free, no ads. Personal wellness reference only, not a medical device and not a diagnosis.
