  • Suggestions!?

If you want to hide the icons in low-power mode, and others want them, make it a configuration parameter. It won't be something users can control right now, but it will work when the ability to set properties is available.
  • I will appreciate if somebody using old firmware test the new version 2.1.1, with the adjustments to work on the non-beta firmware.
    Just uploaded on store.

    Best regards,
  • I don't know, if somebody already mentioned it, my comments:
    - Date, steps and percent are too small and look blurry. Maybe make them bigger and sharp.
    - Right part of text quickly disappears now. Please leave charge-percent.
    - Seconds are always freeze and are not counting, then disappear.
    - I don't use steps-counting, though it would be useful to not show 0/7500 all the time. Maybe not show it while it is zero, or you have access to a special flag.

Great watchface! Thank you for you time and effort!

    Sergey,
Many thanks for the comments. I will point your bullest.

I'll check the blurry part of it, maybe due to the shadow, but unfortunatly, i don't think i would be able to change the font size due to screen restrictions

Are you usign the latest firmware? It is related to the Low power mode to save battery. I can tell you that on 920xt the "movement" of glance, check seconds, steps and battery is working properly. But if still not working as it should, i wonder if you could provide further details of your hardware so i can figure out what is happening.

    - I don't use steps-counting, though it would be useful to not show 0/7500 all the time. Maybe not show it while it is zero, or you have access to a special flag.

I will definitely look at it. While we are not able to use the configuration menus on the system, I'm not sure that i will be able to remove it, but again, i will look at it.

I've implemented the code already and filed a request to "Hide Activity Status", while "Change Color Set" to Red, Gray, Blue, Pink theme, Black or White Background, etc. etc... are in the code. I will make sure that you will be able to customize what kind of info you would like to display while on Low Power mode or outside it as soon as the SDK/Firmware is updated.

Appreciate your comments and your understanding as above.
    Best Regards

I am using 2.7 with the latest Cube release 2.1.2 and it works great. I am really happy with it (tried some other faces but they are buggy). I am happy without the seconds, and still dont understand the info the lower bar is providing, but I like the readability and the amount of information i am getting is right what I want to have: steps in count (with it was configurable: (steps)/(steps_total) Vs. (steps)/(steps_%) but that's not a deal breaker), battery in %, date ant time.

    Hello jcliment!

The lower bar is the Activity bar, provided by Garmin Activity Monitor. When you are inactive for the first hour (60min) it fills half of the bottom, adding an additional 15min, a quarter, up to 2 hours of inactivity, when the bar will be full.

With regards to the configurations, i'm selecting several config schemes, were you will be able to display % baterry, baterry icon, steps in %, hide or display informations, etc. but this will only be available when the next SDK/Firmware is available.

    Regards
    EB
  • Listening to the requests, i've tested and uploaded the version without the drop shadow and looks so much better!

    Enjoy 2.1.3! Is now live!
  • Great watch face.

One issue on my VA is that the fonts for steps and day/date are too small for easy viewing. Could the font size be increased?

    Thanks
  • Hello Duggeem,

I understand your point, but as ConnectIQ has predetermined fonts/sizes, unfortunatly increasing it makes the upper right block bigger, on top of the seconds/minutes display.
I'll play with some custom fonts, trying to use as much pixels as the display would fit OK?
Thanks for the feedback! Best regards!

LOVE LOVE LOVE your watch face, but I do have one question. I like that the steps etc don't display all the time, but I cant figure out how to get them to come up other than switching to the widget to left or right then going back to the clock face. That kind of defeats the purpose since the widget to the left is my activity tracking.

How do I display the extra content without having to switch pages?
