Half Time was my second face here (May 2018), and it always split opinions in the best way: the analog dial is four times bigger than the screen, so you only see the hours around now, gliding under the pointer.
Half Time is for people who just want to know the approximate time, and that is enough. Is it almost 12? Is the night starting? One quick glance answers it. No grid of numbers, no stress from your own watch.
- The time is big and bright, readable from any angle, and stays big in the always-on mode too.
- The day-night ring along the edge follows the real sunrise and sunset, so you also see where the day stands.
- If you want one number after all, there is a single progress circle: step goal, floors, active minutes, heart rate, battery or Body Battery. Or nothing at all.
The rewrite: always-on support with a wake animation where the skeleton floods with color, native complications, on-watch settings, six themes plus a light one, 12 fonts, 11 languages, no unlock codes. Runs on every color-display watch with System 7 or newer.
Store: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/f98f984a-bf87-43da-9ca5-21496eb6bf29 (The original remains on the store for older watches.)
Support lives in this thread. Requests welcome; several of the new defaults exist because of review feedback on the original. A rating helps the new listing more than you would guess: it starts at zero.
