!!! IMPORTANT - PLEASE, RESTART YOUR WATCHES AFTER WATCHFACE UPDATE IF YOU HAVE SOME CONFIGURATION ISSUES !!!

Watch Face contains:
- Time and date
- activity history graph (past 7 days + today) in kCal and km/mi (or steps)
- maximum or sum or average kCals and km/mi (or steps)
- daily goal progress and step count
- custom fields
- status and notification icons
- inactivity indicator. Removing of inactivity levels is handled by the watch firmware, usually it takes about 3-4 minutes of walking.
- "goal reached" indicator in the week graph (small white triangle)

Supports 12/24 time format and km/mi.

  • The step progress is tracked on the Fēnix 3 by the arc below the step count figure. It is filled in grey until you hit target and then turns green.

Bars at the left are your "move" indicators - more bars means less movement has taken place in the last hour (or whatever it is)

thanks! I figured that out ... in detail I'd like to understand: what does the left bar from 40 to 45 min tell me? From 45 to 50: that one gets larger (and is "dotted") with inactivity. The lower part: is it just some yes/no for inactivity?

It ain't important, but nice to know ;-)

Pretty much as you said - it's the inactivity bar (I don't remember the exact detail - I turned off the move alert when I got back from 100km bike ride and it told me to move!)
  • can't install ActiFace, no '3 dots' in Garmin Express

Hi i'm a new Fenix 3 HR user, installed Garmin Express 4.1.28.0 on my Windows 10 laptop, and there are no '3 dots' next to any of the watch faces (or anything else).
any idea how to fix this?

    thanks
    Faron

Yes, right click, then SETTINGS :)
  • Minor note, i see in the log, the following message many times. Perhaps the Store_ID indicates it comes from this app i believe, that id was mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

    "I:\Garmin\Apps\Logs\CIQ_LOG.TXT"

WARNING: Unable to close bike power sensor
    STORE_ID: 7ef071c34a144eb3aca9e3a531262711

This other thread seems to relate to the issue and maybe a correction

    Hello!
    Some ideas from user Garmin-920:
    1) Make the indentation before the day of week.
Now the first vertical line of the weekday name merges with the boundary of clock.
    2) After sunset, the clock does not change the time of sunset to sunrise.
I have to do it manually - taking a lock, and again putting on the block.
    3) Well to make the ability to put on a different field separately - sunrise and sunset separately.

Examples can be seen in the photo:

  • thanks...can you update page one?

Yes, right click, then SETTINGS :)

thanks, that did it. However i was using the steps from page one of this thread (ActiFace can be configured via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
Here is how to do it: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread...o-App-Settings) where it says to click the 3 dots, any chance that could be removed/updated?
    thank you!
